Interactive screen content at Ebay HQ shows high brand relevance
This is a project on which ESI Designs combined with Float 4 from Canada. It’s at Ebay HQ in San Jose and notable for a few reasons. The LED columns, for example, show how LED strips can have high dramatic impact within a space without a high price tag to match. However, it’s the way the interactive content engages visitors with ebay product categories and their respective data that offers the most magic. Visitors get fascinated looking at the numbers and invariably check out more than one category.
Portl hologram like presentation
This clever use of light box with see through LCD screen helps create a convincing 3D illusion. If you’ve got a few minutes to spare, its inventor David Nussbaum CEO of Portl, will talk you through it in the first video. Whereas in the second video the BBC does a news story on it.
Bar lounge decor enhancement via screen content
Here LED is cleverly used within the same space by Fusion Ci to create different visual elements. Another waterfall illusion is juxtaposed with playful bubble content displayed behind the bar. The third video shows alternative imagery deployed in the same space. A great thing about digital display is that it enables content to be refreshed once the novelty wears off.
